The Tianhe Environmental Protection Integrated Screening and Crushing Machine combines a high-capacity dual-tooth roller crusher with a rotary drum screen, innovatively employing a “screen first, crush later” process. Installed at the discharge point of the transfer scraper conveyor on the mining face, it enables source-level classification and processing of raw coal.
At the very source of underground coal mining, efficiently handling large lumps of raw coal, reducing transportation losses, and ensuring stable system operation have long been key concerns for the industry. The integrated screening-and-crushing machine developed by Tangshan Tianhe Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. was specifically designed to address these challenges.
This equipment integrates a high-capacity double-roller crusher with a rotary drum screen and innovatively employs a “screening first, crushing second” process. It is installed at the discharge point of the transfer scraper conveyor on the mining face to enable source-level classification and processing of raw coal.

The entire unit features a compact, space-saving design, making it particularly well-suited for confined underground environments. When seamlessly integrated with transfer scraper conveyors, hydraulically self-propelled tail units, and belt conveyors, the equipment can efficiently process raw coal up to 2,000 mm in size, with a maximum production capacity of 7,000 tonnes per hour. Material that does not exceed the specified size limits is directly screened through and conveyed into the transport system, while only oversized coal chunks are sent to the crushing section. This effectively eliminates unnecessary crushing, significantly enhances transport efficiency, and reduces the risk of belt tears along long-distance return-air roadways caused by large pieces of waste rock.
The core components—the screening disc and crushing rollers—are manufactured from Tianhe Environmental Protection’s proprietary Barre high-wear-resistant alloy, which strikes an optimal balance among high strength, high toughness, and exceptional wear resistance. This material delivers a service life of 2–3 years, outperforming the commonly used high-manganese steel or standard alloy steels in the industry. In addition, the equipment is equipped with large-diameter crushing rollers that ensure large ore chunks are fully engaged and crushed in a single pass, thereby reducing the need for repeated crushing and further enhancing operational continuity and energy efficiency.

As a national-level “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in niche, specialized, and innovative fields, Tianhe Environmental Protection has consistently focused on the manufacturing of high-end equipment for mineral crushing. Its integrated screening-and-crushing machines not only demonstrate a deep understanding of underground operating conditions but also earn widespread recognition from coal mine operators thanks to their reliable performance, making them a key driver in advancing the development of green, efficient, and intelligent mines.
